This is not a new topic to discuss on. Everyone has a vague idea about teenagers getting addicted to porn. But I would like to talk from the point of view of a teenager and also from my own experiences.

ADOLESCENT HORMONAL CHANGES

Now this is a very common reason of the youngsters getting addicted to porn. During the adolescent period the human brain undergoes some serious changes. When an adolescent boy compulsively views pornography, his brain chemistry can become shaped around the attitudes and situations that he is watching. Sadly, pornography paints an unrealistic picture of sexuality and relationships that can create an expectation for real-life experiences that will never be fulfilled. This feeling of the fantasies not getting fulfilled works as positive catalyst for the teenagers.

 CURIOSITY

A budding teenager has a very active brain with lots of curiosities. During this time a boy or a girl gets curious about his or her body and tries to explore the sexual pleasures. They try to find guidance from the porn movies. They try to find out how to get mutual or solo sexual pleasure out of a human body.

INEXPENSIVE WAY TO GET PLEASURE

In several countries it’s hard to have sex with someone in teenage. Particularly in those countries and in other countries too teenagers find porn a cheap way to get sexual pleasures as now a day the popularity of internet is so huge that one can easily access porn movies for free.

EXCELLENT MARKETING AND PRESENTATION POLICY OF THE PORNOGRAPHIC WEBSITES

Pornographic websites hire MBAs and engineers to market their pornographic films and website appealing for the kids. And they present their website so well that it can easily manipulate a teenager’s mind. They are just like any other company who market their product so well that consumers purchase their product.

BOREDOM

Now this is from my personal experience. During this adolescent sometimes the teenagers find lack of motivation about studies or other constructive stuffs. They find shortage of things they can do to utilise their time. Sometime they simply get stressed or bored of their routine life. So they try to kill time and to get other pleasures by watching porn.
