Sinner

SINNER

His hands were filled with his beloved's blood. Tonight, he killed her beloved with a knife. She, was in deep slumber when this happened. The man loved his woman deeply. But the Lord forbade them to live together. Their house made of grass and woods was isolated from the city. His lady who was promised to be well fed by him now hardly had a proper one time meal. Lenders queued up to get their money back. The couple was helpless. The lady frail yet bore a pained smile. This smile of hers seemed to mock her husband. He couldn't make her happy. Neither could she provide a suitable lifestyle. Not knowing a way out, he decided to free both of them. That night, when the crickets stopped their movements and went to sleep, he woke up with a knife in his hand. His eyes had pain and tears almost welled up there. His wife was sound asleep. He cried, as he pierced the knife inside her stomach. Blood oozed out from there. She woke up in pain, on realizing that she was awake, he put a hand to cover her from shouting and killed her. Looking at her face filled with fear, made him feel ashamed of himself. He was a sinner now. He committed a sin, that was u forgivable both for the law and for Humanity. But he was helpless. Poverty made him choose this path. He then pierced the knife inside his own stomach. With tears in eyes, he fell beside her. That night he killed two lives-hers and their child's who was inside her womb. Hoping to be free both from this sin and poverty, he escaped the earth, forever.
